Roads End Home Gets a New Kitchen

This home is located in Lincoln City in the Roads End area. Beautiful home that overlooks the ocean just a few blocks away. The Kitchen, like most of the homes in the area, is on the top floor and has a gorgeous view, but the kitchen was nothing impressive to look at. It's the original kitchen from when the home was built in the early 90's and was done with builders grade cabinets. This client was very happy with the original layout, storage and functionality of the kitchen, just not the look. Take a peak below.

We did a full remodel and gutted the kitchen completely. All the appliances were replaced except for the refrigerator, which was brand new. Below, demo is well underway and took a day and a half to tear out everything and take it down two flights of stairs. It was definitely a work out!

Yay, time to install the new cabinets! The peninsula was extended out and the existing carpet was pulled back to allow for it. Our client also added shallow front cabinets for more storage.

Lower Cabinets going in and making sure everything is perfectly level and stable for the granite countertops. Don't want any cracks!

The pantry door was plain and didn't match the look of the new kitchen, so changed that too!

And now for the final reveal!

Here are the specifics: The tile floor was covered over with Cortec Luxury Vinyl - Timberland Rustic Pine, which has a grey wash drift wood look, very beachy. The cabinets are the Dewils shaker style in white with 5" brush nickel pulls. We raised the upper cabinets higher than the old ones to provide more appliance space on the counters and give the kitchen a more spacious feel.

This Kitchen was so amazing to do and the reward at the end was well worth taking the stairs everyday. I often forget to take pictures during our projects and I'll try to be better at it. Also with the posting, I'll try to get these out a little more often since my phone has filled up with pictures!
